Pop Art Portraits
Margaret
Irving’s Pop Art portraits have been compared to the work
of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, but she has her own, more
painterly and realistic style. Startlingly detailed eyes, beautifully
painted hair, and perfect colour schemes to match a client’s
décor are a few trademarks of her art.
I work from your digital or printed photograph. They can be emailed
or snail mailed depending on which kind they are. The portraits
are meticulously hand painted using my new method and the result
is a very rich and clean looking canvas.
Proofs are emailed to you and changes can be made before the final
approval, and printing.
Canvas prints are stretched over a wood frame in the gallery
mounted style and come ready to hang with hardware and wire on
the back.
Four coats of UV protectant and clear coating complete the work

After deciding on shape, size, number of images and colour, a
50% deposit is taken and work takes approximately three weeks.

work can begin if you need time to research colours. Please contact
me for a specific quote and timeline for completion of your portrait. |
The Options
Multiple images such as four squares with a face in each one are the most requested
portraits, but single portraits, couples, pets or family groups are also done.
Groups of single portraits together or lined up in a stairwell or large hallway
are also a terrific option.
Three siblings in a row or a parent with a child on either side is a great gift
(for example to a parent or grandparent).
For a surprise birthday, Christmas, anniversary or any occasion gift or just
for your self a Pop Art Portrait has that wow factor.
For signing events like bar mitzvahs, I have framing instructions for you and
your picture framer for making a special portrait memento.
